It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Karen Elizabeth Devion, a devoted wife, loving parent, and cherished friend. Karen passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at Puerto Vallarta Regional Hospital with her husband, Al Devion, by her side.
Karen’s love for her family and friends was at the heart of everything she did, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mexico was her happy place, and it brought us great comfort and joy to see her enjoying her retirement in a place she truly loved. During her time there, she met many wonderful people from across the country who quickly became dear friends.
Though she is now with her guardian angels, her love and spirit will always remain with us. We love you, Mom.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the summer of 2026 in Winnipeg, with further details to be announced at a later date.
